Family

It has been a while since I entered a challenge at Stamp-a-Memory but this month's challenge fitted perfectly with the new catalogue release and my favourite new products!! This month the challenge is to scrap a photo that is more than ten years old.

I have scrapped a photo of my paternal grandmother's parents (my great grandparents). The photo was taken in either the 1950s or 1960s (waiting on my mum to confirm the date for me and then I will add it to my page ...I have left a small oval journalling spot for the purpose).

Here is a close look at the bird. I have heat embossed the image several times and then cracked the image. Isn't the crotchet doily pretty. It was an op shop find and I have added some cotton twine as well.

I coloured the chipboard letters with a Bashful Blue marker. I like the suede effect it gives to the letttering.

The stamp set is Nature Walk and the patterned papers are from Botanical Gazette.

Thanks for looking.

Autumn Mini Catalogue

The Autumn Mini Catalogue is available now (yes I know it hase been for a few weeks now..sorry life has been shall we say chaotic!!). Click here to view the catalogue online or if you would like your own copy just drop me a line.

My favourites from this catalogue....everything on pages 14 and 15. Love the colour combo and the images are divine.

My first project to share is a case of the card on page 14. I did this card as one of the workshop projects for a recent workshop for Grace (hi ladies).

We have used the Nature Walk stamp set together with the colour spritzer to make the collage background of the card. The colours we have used are Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, So Saffron and Old Olive. I love that bird cage image...so sweet.

If you would like to book your own workshop and try out the new mini catalogue products be sure to contact me so we can arrange a time.
Thanks for stopping by

Lisa
