Just Add Ink Challenge 1

There is a new Australian Stampin' Up! challenge blog Just Add Ink.
They are up to their second challenge now but I was a little slow off the mark and have only just finished the first challenge.
It was a colour challenge to use the colours of their blog on a card, scrapbook page or 3D project.

I chose to do a scrapbook page. I love the colour combination and would never have chosen it without the challenge.
Here is a close up of the big bird from the So Tweet Chipboard.

My journalling strips:

And finally the page. Two of my boys (Matt and Ben) looking angelic.

Haitian Disaster relief

From the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Website:

"On 12 January, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, you can help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this earthquake by purchasing, and more importantly selling, the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set. From now until 28 February 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set you sell will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need".

Click here to see the flyer.

For every I {Heart} Heart stamp set purchased through me I will also be donating my 20% commission to Oxfam.

The I {Heart} Hearts stamp set is available for $42.95 AUD .
To place an order please phone or email me.
Thank you and hopefully together we can contribute to this relief effort.

Happy New Year and some scrapping

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying the holidays. We are having an at home holiday this year and trying to get some jobs finished around the house. My lovely hubby has already finished painting the front of our house and is now on to building a bedroom for our eldest. He is sooo handy to have around.

I can't wait for the boys to all have their own room. It will make such a difference...some time-out from each other is very important some days lol.

Only problem is that I have to do some major downsizing of my scrapbook supplies so I can fit in my new area. Sam (my now 14 month old) loves to help and as I try and organise he is busily unpacking everything in sight. Sigh. I will get there one day.

I have managed to do a little scrapbooking though and I have a page to share using the Hoppy Memories Scrapbooking Kit from Stampin' Up!.

There is lots of inking and distressing on this one and I have used the Curly Label punch to make a border on my photo mat.

I can hear Sam crying in the background..better run

Happy Scrapping

Lisa
